At Pauls we’re all about providing straight forward, down to earth advice. We won’t push you towards a bike just because we have it in stock and nor will we try and convince you that if you stand on tip toes the XL frame will fit if it really doesn’t! We’d rather you walk out the door having received solid advice rather than sell you something that isn’t quite right.

The puppet master behind the scenes, Tom steers the ship here at Pauls. When he’s not in the office you’ll catch him riding his gorgeous Whyte Hoxton.

Duncan has been at Pauls for over 21 years and has helped steer the shop from growth to growth. There isn’t much he doesn’t know and has the uncanny ability of being able to recall exactly what Bottom Bracket your 2001 GT Zaskar will need.

Tom the Bike Fitter

Tom joined the Paul’s Cycles team at the end of 2017, having worked previously at Street Life Cycles and Apple Pie. A keen long-distance cyclist, last year Tom completed the Coast to Coast ride.

Never afraid to get his hands dirty George is head of Workshop Servicing and is ready to get your bike back up and running. When he’s not working you’ll find George sending his Orange P7 over jumps and through berms.

Olly joined the team this Spring and is a dab hand with a set of Allen Keys. A big fan of long travel mountain bikes Olly is all set to take his Cube Stereo up to the Peaks and push it to the limits.

When he’s not in the workshop, you’ll find Liam sending rum ol’ jumps on his Rocky Mountain Instinct BC. Soon to start an Apprenticeship with us, Liam is a fount of information when it comes to all things off road.

Dean The Machine joined the team earlier this year, bringing with him a wealth of workshop skills and millimetre perfect bar taping.

In charge of packing your bike ahead of dispatch, Aggie’s eye for detail ensures that every measure is taken to make sure your bike arrives safe & sound.
