Making your Payment

We accept all major credit/debit cards - EXCEPT American Express. Cheques should be made payable to Pauls Cycles Ltd - you can find our address on the Contacts page. We also accept postal orders and cash via secure recorded delivery. The price for the goods will be as stipulated on the website at the time when you place your order. If due to an error or omission, the price published for the goods on our website is wrong, we will inform you of the correct price and give you an opportunity to either cancel, or proceed with the order at the correct price. We reserve the right to make changes to offers or prices without any prior notice. All offers are subject to availability. We cannot accept responsibility if the details you provide us with are incorrect or if an incorrect order has been placed.

Shipping and Handling

We pride ourselves on the speed at which we process our orders. With our Priority delivery service 90% of cycle deliveries arrive the next working day and 98% within 48 hours from point of despatch(Mon-Fri 8am - 6pm). Please note that this is NOT a guarantee that your cycle will arrive within this time scale. Some standard deliveries can take up to 7 working days. Our standard delivery service is available on all items, However some areas may be subject to a delivery surcharge as listed below. If postage costs are to be applied our standard delivery charge is £10.00 including insurance to the items value in transit - however deliveries to the following areas will incurr a surcharge as listed Northern Ireland + £40.00 Ireland + £70.00 Scottish areas with postcodes (AB21-56, PH11-54, IV1-56, PA20-88) + £25.00 UK Off shore island £40.00 We also offer a Saturday delivery service at a surcharge rate of £30.00, again this service is not guaranteed and only around 80% of these items actually arrive on time with deliveries ranging between 7am and 2pm - if delivery is not attempted the courier will try and deliver to you at their earliest oppourtunity and a refund of the surcharge will be given upon you contacting us. Our subsidised delivery service only applies if the purchased item is not returned to us within 7 days of purchase - if the goods are returned as a non warranty item eg; a changed mind, or wrong size ordered and another cycle is not required Pauls Cycles Ltd will apply a delivery charge of £10.00 plus any surchages that may apply as above. You as the customer are responsible for all return costs to us. Please note, Pauls Cycles Ltd does not make any profit from deliveries, and any free scheduled services are made as a courtesy on behalf of the customer. Scheduled delivery forms no part of the purchase contract between you the customer and Pauls Cycles Ltd. Pauls Cycles Ltd can not be held liable or responsible for any delay arising as a result of the action of the courier company. In effect when a scheduled delivery service is booked, Pauls Cycles Ltd acts as your agent in booking the service with the courier. We do this free of charge as a courtesy. We regret we cannot accept orders or make deliveries outside the UK.

Your Security and Credit Card Security

As a valued customer we have to the best of our abilities tried to ensure that none of your personal information is at risk while using this site. If you do select to use our secure server option, you will be transferred to the secure server prior to your payment details being requested. The secure server uses 128 bit encryption and as such you can feel confident that your details cannot be intercepted by any third party at any point during the transaction. If you select to use our credit application facility your details are once again only transferred via a 128 bit encrypted connection. If you do not feel you want to use our secure ordering service please feel free to telephone your order to us - please have your card details to hand. PLEASE NOTE WE ONLY DESPATCH GOODS TO THE REGISTERED BILLING ADDRESS FOR THE CARD (CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENT BEFORE FILLING IN YOUR DETAILS) FAILURE TO SUPPLY US WITH THE CORRECT NAME AND ADDRESS WILL STOP YOUR ORDER BEING PROCESSED

Back Orders

If you place an order with us for an item we are temporarily out of stock we will attemp to deliver as soon as possible within 28 days - after this time you may cancel your order with us by contacting us by telephone or e mail.

Returns

If goods need to be collected for any reason, all postage charges will be the responsibility of the buyer. In the event of a customer cancelling an order Pauls Cycles Ltd reserves the right to deduct from the total amount refunded a credit card / administration fee of £10.00.

Non Warranty Returns

We will accept the return of any UNUSED item within 7 days of delivery. For this type of return the customer is responsible for the safe return of the item and for all the delivery charges involved with the transaction. You must additionally contact us (either by telephone or e-mail to gain your returns number) and to inform us of your decision to return your order prior to sending it to us. This is consistent with the Department of Trade and Industry's distance selling regulation. Please note we stress that the goods MUST be packed to the same standard it was received to avoid damge to the product.

Warranty Returns

In the unlikely event of you having a warranty claim we offer 2 options: 1) We can send you a relacement part charged to your card pending return of the faulty item. If Upon inspection the item is deemed to be faulty we will immediatly refund the full amount charged. 2)We can wait for you to return the faulty item to us and then send you a replacement or the repaired item back to you as soon as possible. Please note that Labour and transportation costs are excluded from ALL warranty claims.

Damage In Transit

Please check your goods thoroughly before signing to say that you have received them in good condition. This is very important as we will need to claim from the couriers if ever they are responsible for such damage. Please do not amend the signature sheet in any way. We will not accept any claim for goods signed 'unchecked'. Please note if you declare that you have received your item in good condition, it is very difficult to later claim that your item was in fact damaged in transit. If you do receive an item which on inspection is unacceptably and or substantially damaged, please refuse delivery - Do not sign for it and contact us immediately on 01362 696276 giving a clear reason for refusal. We can then arrange for a replacement item to be sent out to you as soon as we receive and inspect the returned item. You will not be charged for this unless the goods are found on inspection to be undamaged. Please retain any packaging from the product until you are entirely happy with it.

Sizing

All frame sizes specified on this site are accurate to within 2.4cm - however some cycles are measured differently. We will try to advise you to the best of our abilities as to which size you need but the ultimate decision rests with you. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect sizes being ordered.

Warranty

All bicycles supplied by Pauls Cycles Ltd conform to BS6102/1. Should any original component prove defective in terms of material deficiency or workmanship within the warranty period We will either replace or repair it free of charge. "Competition" goods are supplied for specialist use and are subject to extreme wear and stress whilst in use. Life expectancy and durability are greatly reduced and purchasers should note that any claim for failure/wear shall be limited to that of the manufactures guarantees. It is agreed that such use shall be a relevant circumstance for the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended). Manufacturers may also limit guarantees when components or items are installed for competition use. All claims however must be submitted to us in writing within the guarantee period stated on the accompanying handbook. Pauls Cycles Ltd liability covers parts only, but does not cover labour charges from other cycle dealers, transportation charges or consequential loss. It is therefore the responsibility of the purchaser to return the cycle or component to us for assessment, replacement, or repair. This guarantee does not cover the effects of normal wear and tear, or damage caused by accident, abuse or neglect. No bicycle is indestructible, and for this reason we are unable to guarantee cycles or components for any type of off road use, as damage is more likely to result. Our Warranty excludes the following items tyres, light bulbs, cables, inner tubes, chains and batteries. We strongly recommend before riding your cycle or using your accessories that you read and understand fully any relevant information supplied with it as the content supplied contains very important information regarding the safe operation of your cycle or goods. Failure to do so could result in serious injury and or death. Servicing is a necessary part of enjoying your cycling, we recommend servicing being carried by an approved dealer for your product. Please note failure to have your product serviced at an authorised dealer could mean you warrant becoming null and void - see owners manuals for details. We strongly advise you that prior to changing the manufacturers specification of your product eg: fitting longer travel forks that you contact the manufacturer for approval.

Price Match Policy

If in the unlikely event you find one of our products for sale at a cheaper price the product must be brand new, unused, of the same model year, size and colour and in stock at an authorized dealer. please note this does not include auction sites such as E-bay. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR PRICE MATCH POLICY ONLY APPLIES AT TIME OF PURCHASE AND CANNOT BE BACK DATED IN ANY WAY.

ONLY AT THE TIME OF PURCHASING A NEW CYCLE FROM US WE OFFER YOU THE CHANCE TO BUY SELECTED PRODUCTS FROM OUR DISCOUNT BOX AT A REDUCED COST. UNDER NO CICUMSTANCES WILL WE ACCEPT ANY ORDERS FOR THESE PRODUCTS UNLESS THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED WITH AN ORDER FOR A CYCLE. ORDERS WHICH DO NOT COMPLY TO THIS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DECLINED.
