Each and every bike we send out goes through a thorough build process.
Once it's picked from our warehouse it's built by one of our trained mechanics to ensure that your bike is running to perfection.
Set up for you: let us know your weight and we'll set the suspension with the recommended pressures.
Once built, a second member of the build team takes over to check nothing has been missed before preparing it for packing.
Once in the packing bay, we remove the front wheel and handlebars from the stem and carefully wrap it to fit it securely into an export grade box.
Generally we try to reuse the box it came in, but if that's not up to scratch we'll pop your bike into one of our own export grade boxes.

All of our bikes are sent with TNT and can be tracked along their journey.

Final assembly once you've received the bike is quick and easy - usually just putting the front wheel in and re-attaching the handlebars with 4 allen key bolts. We provide an easy to follow step-by-step instruction sheet to help you along the way.
If in doubt we're always available at the other end of a phone line to talk you through it.
General adjustments
Although all our bikes are fully assembled prior to shipping, to ensure safe arrival it is possible that some small readjustment is needed upon arrival. We are happy to advise over the phone, but if you are unsure, we would always recommend having your bike assembled by a professional.
We cannot accept any cycle warranty claim or return for incorrect pedal fitment or damage to crank arms caused by incorrect pedal fitment as described in the helpsheet supplied with all of our bikes.
If the wheels on the bike you've ordered become untrue through use, or the gears need readjustment after initial use, this unfortunately not covered under warranty.
Due to the mechanical nature of bicycles, it is highly recommended that new bicycles are serviced within 6-8 weeks of ownership, by a professional bicycle shop, to ensure correct adjustment, lubrication and torque settings.
Pauls Cycles cannot reimburse any costs associated with the set up and adjustment of a new cycle.
Delivery time
We know you're keen to receive your bike as quickly as possible, so aim to dispatch your order the following working day. During very busy periods there may be a 1-2 delay on dispatch but we'll make this clear straight away.
Receiving your delivery
If you have instructed the courier to leave your package on your doorstep or in another insecure place, we cannot claim for missing items or damage to your package. We therefore strongly recommend that you advise us of a favoured delivery day, ask the courier to leave your package with a trusted neighbour, or collect it from a local delivery depot.
Finance & Delivery
When using Finance we are stipulated to deliver your order to your registered billing address where the Finance agreement has been taken out. We can hold dispatch for a day that suits you (if you can work from home, or you have a family member who can be home on a particular day for example) but we are unable to change the delivery address.
