We cannot accept any cycle warranty claim or return for incorrect pedal fitment or damage to crank arms caused by incorrect pedal fitment as described in the helpsheet supplied with all of our bikes.

If the wheels on the bike you've ordered become untrue through use, or the gears need readjustment after initial use, this unfortunately not covered under warranty.

Giant Trance Advanced Pro 29 0 Mountain Bike 2020 Chameleon Purple

Season:2020

Brand:Giant

Code:2011006ChameleonPUR

It took years for Giants team of engineers, product designers and Pro riders to create a new short-travel 29er that met their high standards. The wait was worth it. The latest iteration of this legendary trail bike marks a huge step forward, offering a true advantage in all-around trail performance. It starts with a full carbon frame that's fitted with Giants most up-to-date maestro suspension. The advanced forged carbon composite rocker arm and trunnion-mount shock help produce 115mm of smooth rear-wheel travel that's active and sensitive to small bumps, giving you killer traction and confident control. Also, the frame geometry is updated with progressive headtube and seat tube angles, shorter chainstays and a longer top tube all engineered to balance the speed and control of its 29-inch wheels with the agility you need to rail corners, hammer through rock gardens and do it all with confidence and control.

29er confidence and control
Larger 29-inch diameter wheels roll over rough terrain with balance and stability, giving you the momentum to tackle technical climbs and the confidence to fly on fast, rugged singletrack descents.

Latest suspension tech
Updated maestro rear suspension features a trunnion-mount shock with a longer stroke and smoother feel. With 115mm of full rear-wheel travel (and 130mm up front), it has the new advanced forged carbon composite upper rocker arm for increased stiffness and strength plus lower overall frame weight.

Trail-tuned chassis
The lightweight Advanced-grade carbon frameset features updated geometry, including an aggressive 66.5-degree head tube angle and 74.5-degree seat tube angle, plus a 44mm fork offset. The result is agile and efficient climbing capabilities plus added control for high-speed descents.

Size Guides are a great way to help you find the right bike, but we always recommend visiting our store to view and sit on the bike in person where possible or speaking to ouradvice team.

This Size Guide is based on an average build, if you have shorter arms or longer legs for example you will need to consider this when purchasing a bike. If you are between sizes, we always recommend sizing down as a smaller bike can be made bigger with adjustments. Stem length, Saddle height, Handlebar width and even Crank length can be changed to achieve the ideal riding position. See here for our generalbike sizing guide.

Professional Opinion

Enduro MTB Review:

The Giant Trance Advanced Pro 29 is the perfect cross-country bike for downhillers. It’s an ultra-efficient bike for pedalling and its handling is very direct. Thanks to the progressive suspension, you can let it rip and have a ton of fun on simple trails.

Let it rip! For a bike with only 115 mm travel at the rear, it’s surprising what the Trance 29 is capable of.
